This study aimed to evaluate the adsorption capacity of an adsorbent obtained using sanky peel for removal phosphate from aqueous solutions. The was conducted in two stages: (1) preparation considering yield, removal, capacity, and textural characteristics; (2) assessment effectiveness as removing phosphates Batch studied solutions containing calcium ions with selected adsorbent. Adsorption kinetics equilibrium isotherms were mathematical models. followed pseudo-second-order, Elovich, Weber–Morris models, thus demonstrating that rates not controlled by multiple processes. data fitted best Dubinin–Radushkevich model. Finally, a Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis revealed presence brushite spectra bands after adsorption. results this can help better understand use good alternative
